With April just around the corner, it's hard to believe we'd be experiencing snowfall in Princetown at this time of year. Around two to three inches of snow fell across parts of Dartmoor this morning as overnight temperatures dropped to almost freezing. Although our brewing team arrived with very cold fingers to start the day, we'll be continuing to brew our award-winning real ales as normal!

BBC Radio Devon presenter and Jail Ale fan Gordon Sparks turned bar tender for the night with the newest member of our team, Scott Prideaux, to launch our speciality beer, Three Stout Hares at the Gog & Magog in Plymouth yesterday. Three Stout Hares is a 4.5% ABV unique stout ale with a delicious taste and aromas of honey, fruit and spices and has already earned celebrity fans including Dartmoor folk legend, Seth Lakeman. �Yesterday's budget was such good news for the brewing industry,� explains our Head Brewer, Mike Lunney. �After years of the beer duty escalator increases depressing the industry, dropping the duty last year and again this year will continue to help build confidence in the future and a definite feel good factor for the industry.� Brewers look on this decrease as the government providing some long term support.
