The last rider of the Ninth Bontrager 24/12 at Newham Park finished just before 1pm on Sunday, making it nearly 25 hours in total for the race, a real test of physical and mental strength. Although the idea is to have fun this is a serious event with several of the top mountain bike riders in the country competing. Just over a week to go until one of our favourite events, Chagstock, reputedly the 'best little festival in the South West'. Headlining at the Chagford-based festival this year are The Waterboys (remember 'The Whole Of The Moon'?) and The Lightening Seeds (probably most famous for their 'Three Lions' Euro 96 song which went to number 1). �Whilst we might not be actually headlining at the event, we're still very much involved with Dartmoor Brewery providing both the main bar and VIP bar for the whole weekend. �It's always a fantastic weekend of great music and local food and drink, and...

With the excitement of the Tour de France Grand Depart still ringing in our ears, here at the Brewery we've got swept up with cycling enthusiasm and entered the Bontager TwentyFour12 mountain bike race. �An off road event every bit as challenging as the Tour de France ..... well for us anyway!
