Scott Prideaux, our Sales and Social Media Manager presented a cheque for £200 to the 42 Commando Royal Marines Welfare Fund this week. Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Rich Cantrill OBE MC RM gratefully accepted the Dartmoor Brewery donation at 42 Commando's barracks at Bickleigh.Dartmoor Brewery raised the funds by donating 5p from every bottle sold of our special edition '42 Commando' bottled Jail Ale to the Royal Marines Welfare Fund. We were pleased to show our ongoing support for the Royal Marines by creating a limited number of uniquely labelled Jail Ale bottles which were sold from the Officer's Mess in the Bickleigh barracks.Based in Bickleigh, just outside of Plymouth, 42 Commando are currently Lead Commando Group which means that they will be the first unit called upon in case of short-notice operations anywhere around the world.
Hello I brought my grandad a bottle of the 42 commando beer you did a run on as he was in them when he was younger, just wondering if you do anything similar tasting to that as he loved it
