A pint of Jail Ale well earned for Ultramarathon competitors

On Saturday 6th June, 240 of the toughest ultra distance runners in the country took part in Dartmoor Discovery's Ultramarathon which totalled a whopping 32 miles through the�unforgiving hills of Dartmoor. Dartmoor Brewery were proud to support the challenging event that continues to grow in popularity each year, seeing this year's race sell out in a record six days. We were pleased to present Jail Ale gift packs to many of the competitors, including this year's winner, Toby Chapman who claimed victory after finishing in an impressive three hours and 51 minutes. To commemorate its homecoming, the Squadron who spent much of their training on Dartmoor, approached us to create a special edition beer for them.
