Dartmoor Brewery flagship beer Jail Ale has once again been recognised as one of the best in class, with a Bronze award at the Tuckers Maltings Beer Festival. The coveted award comes from SIBA - the Society of Independent Brewers - a brewing industry organisation which showcases the very best in British brewing.  The award was sponsored by brewing suppliers Murphy and Sons. The excellent Rising Sun Inn at Woodland, near Ashburton, is celebrating great local ales with its Mini Beer Festival, Saturday and Sunday 22nd/23rd April. There'll be a tempting selection of ales on offer, with Dartmoor Brewery ales featuring highly in the line-up. The Dartmoor Brewery team are on the road again, this time with a trip to the rather splendid Tally Ho which can be found in the village of Littlehempston near Totnes. We'll be at "The Tally" for a Meet the Brewer session from 7:30pm on Thursday 13th April, kicking off the long Easter Weekend in style.  We'll be introducing our fabulous Dartmoor ales, on draught and in the bottle, and chatting about the ingredients we use and our brewing process.
