It's festival time of year, and we'll be heading off to the brilliant Summer Moon Festival in Kingskerswell once again this year.
The organisers describe Summer Moon as a "Great Little Festival" - and we tend to agree! This community-led event has been going since 2008, and has so far raised over £115,000 for local charities and good causes.
The festival fun takes place on Kingskerswell Parish Meadow, in the heart of this lovely Devon village. First and foremost you'll find a great line-up of 70 South West beers, ciders and wines - including our very own Jail Ale, Dartmoor IPA and the rather moreish heather-infused Three Hares.
When hunger strikes, you'll have a great choice of locally-sourced food options, including a hog roast, pulled pork burgers, pizza, and steak baguettes from the "Teign Canteen".
There's a great line-up of live music, including stirring stuff on the night of Thursday 21st June, with the festival's ever-popular “Night at the Proms” concert by the Torbay Symphony Orchestra. You can expect lots of flag-waving, and singing along with Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem and Rule Britannia!
See you there!
