Tony Beard Launches Old Wag at Iconic Dartmoor Fair

In a celebration of all things Dartmoor, we launched our special limited edition beer, Old Wag, with the help of Tony Beard, aka the 'Wag Of Widecombe' on Tuesday at the iconic�Widecombe Fair. As Devon's most famous folk song goes �I want for to go to Widecombe Fair�, we too can't wait to launch our new special edition beer, Old Wag, on Tuesday 8th September at Dartmoor's landmark event � the Widecombe Fair. This special bottle conditioned 9% ale was produced to celebrate the contribution Tony Beard has made over the years to the Dartmoor area and Widecombe Fair, taking on the character of Tom Cobley and becoming known as the Wag from Widecombe. Princetown Football Club opens new home ground

After two years of hard work to raise funds and gain permission, Princetown Football Club has finally made Legend Park in Princetown its new home ground. The sun was shining on the Saturday celebrations, and there was even a football cup up for grabs in a match between Princetown FC and Tavistock Community Football Club. Needless to say the home team were pleased to take home the trophy after their 6-2 victory! The merriments continued throughout the day with activities for the whole family, including live music, bouncy castles and children's entertainers.
