Plymouth cycle race gears up for its 10th year

On 25th and 26th July, cycling enthusiasts will flood into Newnham Park, Plymouth for the 10th Bontrager Twentyfour12�endurance mountain bike race.� For the third year Dartmoor Brewery will support this brilliant event which welcomes cyclists of all levels to the fantastic off-road tracks and�beautiful scenery of Newnham Park. To mark a decade of sponsorship by Bontrager, we were asked by the organisers to create a �Bontrager celebration ale.� In fact, we've brewed 92 cases of this special beer and every competitor will receive a bottle of this special Bontrager brew.We'll also be awarding the top performing cyclists in each category one...

Dartmoor Brewery is pleased to announce that all its core brands, Jail Ale, Legend, Dartmoor IPA, Dartmoor Best and some seasonal beers are now produced as bottle conditioned ales which are now available and ready to be enjoyed by real ale fans.� Devotees can now taste the closest thing to a pint of real ale from their local in our new bottle conditioned ales, which is really something to celebrate! Global drinks expert joins our team

We're delighted to announce that we have appointed an international drinks industry expert as managing director to spearhead Dartmoor Brewery's further growth. Drinks industry sales and marketing specialist, Tim Hobbs, who has held senior board positions at global drinks firms with responsibility across Europe for brands including: Guinness, Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Glenfiddich, Grants and Hendrick's Gin, will now head up the Brewery and focus on improving the availability of Jail Ale and all of our portfolio in the region and nationwide. A pint of Jail Ale well earned for Ultramarathon competitors

On Saturday 6th June, 240 of the toughest ultra distance runners in the country took part in Dartmoor Discovery's Ultramarathon which totalled a whopping 32 miles through the�unforgiving hills of Dartmoor. Dartmoor Brewery were proud to support the challenging event that continues to grow in popularity each year, seeing this year's race sell out in a record six days. We were pleased to present Jail Ale gift packs to many of the competitors, including this year's winner, Toby Chapman who claimed victory after finishing in an impressive three hours and 51 minutes.
