Posted by Mike Coombes Dartmoor Brewery in May 2018

Take to the open roads of Dartmoor on a glorious Summer day, and the chances are you will soon discover the perfect moorland village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor.

You’ll want to take time to explore the village for sure and marvel at the 120 foot tower which marks the 14th Century parish church – known as the “Cathedral of the Moor”.  But when you’ve finished exploring, take a stroll down a leafy lane from the village square and you’ll discover the glorious Rugglestone Inn.

Posted by Mike Coombes Dartmoor Brewery in May 2018

We've teamed up with our good friends at the Pub2Pub Expedition to celebrate their completion of the world's longest pub crawl, with a very limited edition Expedition IPA - and metal health charity Mind is set to benefit too.

After successfully completing their 27,000 mile journey across 25 countries, from the northernmost pub on the planet, to the southernmost, the Pub2Pub Expedition IPA is a well-deserved thirst-quencher, and is inspired by their epic journey.

Introducing our Pub of the Week - the excellent Thatched House in Exeter.

Real ales, real food, and real fires are at the heart of...

Introducing our Pub of the Week - the excellent Rock Inn, Yelverton.

The Rock Inn is a very welcoming hostelry where you'll find a choice of comfortable and characterful bars, a lovely big beer garden to the front, and very well kept Jail Ale and Legend from Dartmoor Brewery. There's a wide ranging menu, available lunchtimes and evenings, with a focus on hearty dishes prepared using great local ingredients, at very reasonable prices. The steak and Jail Ale pie is mighty fine!

Since 2008 the Rock Inn has been home to the excellent annual RockFest, which brings together a line-up of top...
