Dartmoor Brewery are out on the road again, with a Meet the Brewer event at The Steam Packet Inn, Totnes, Friday 24th March from 5pm until 7pm. We look forward to introducing our fine Dartmoor craft ales to the fine folk of Totnes! Liberation Ale Launched

Dartmoor Brewery has joined forces with SAMA, the South Atlantic Medal Association, with the launch of a limited-edition Liberation Ale to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the liberation of the Falkland Islands. The Falkland Islands are a British Overseas Territory situated 300 miles off the South American coast, and were liberated from 74 days of Argentine occupation on 14th June 1982.  Over 900 British and Argentine servicemen lost their lives during the conflict, along with three Falkland Islanders. A sign of exciting times ahead at Dartmoor Brewery, as the steels for the new extension arrive on site. The highest brewery in the British Isles, Dartmoor Brewery was born in 1994, and soon outgrew its original home, moving to a new purpose-built unit in 2006. Now, with our range of superb craft ales continuing to grow in popularity, the Princetown brewery complex is being extended to allow production to be stepped up further. The Butterleigh Inn, near Cullompton, has become one of just a handful of pubs in the land to have appeared in the Good Beer Guide for 30 consecutive years. Now in its 44th year, the Good Beer Guide is published annually by the Campaign for Real Ale.  The beer-lovers' bible is updated each year with the best real ale pubs in the UK, nominated by CAMRA members.
