We're out and about again, with a mission to quench thirsts and give good cheer to the crowds of happy show-goers at the Chagford Show, Thursday 15th August 2019.
We'll be there all day with our pop-up bar, so you can enjoy a perfectly-presented pint of Jail Ale, Legend, Dartmoor IPA or Dartmoor Best.
The Chagford Show is one of the highlights of the Dartmoor events calendar. A proper country show - busy, but not too big. In the main show-ring you can watch as the ever-popular horse, pony, sheep, and cattle classes are judged. There will be a grand parade of prize-winning...
When we're out and about, spreading the Dartmoor Brewery word, it’s always reassuring to know that there’s a roadside pub where we can take a break and enjoy some traditional Devon hospitality (and, if someone else is driving, a good pint of Jail Ale!). You’ll find the Coach and Horses, a 17th century roadside inn, on the A39 between Clovelly and Bideford, a stone’s throw from the beautiful and secluded Peppercombe beach overlooking Barnstaple Bay.
Your host, the welcoming and very popular Tina, keeps a full range of Dartmoor...

Since his appointment as Head Brewer in 2016, Ian has added new beers to the brewery’s award-winning range, including a new keg IPA designed to be served chilled, as well as reinforcing the brewery’s focus on quality, consistency and South West provenance.
An experienced and well-respected industry figure, Ian has previously worked with...

Competitors were provided with well-received refreshment after the race with a bottle of our Dartmoor IPA - and they certainly deserved it!
Race Director Roger Hayes gives us a run-down of this year's event, with his Race Report below:Race Report
