Sun cream at the ready - we'll see you at the Knighton Day Festival at the splendid ClayCutters Arms in Chudleigh Knighton this coming Saturday 1st July.

There'll be Jail Ale and Dartmoor Legend on the bar, plus the ClayCutters' own cider. Tuck in to a tasty hog roast, and enjoy live music and fun in the (hopefully) sun all afternoon.  The festival kicks off at 2pm.

Summer Moon Beer Festival

Summer is here, and we're heading down to the brilliant Summer Moon Beer Festival, Kingskerswell, with a special consignment of our one-off Summer Moon Ale.

The Summer Moon Beer Festival runs from Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th June, and includes a "Night at the Proms" concert on the Thursday evening.  There'll also be live music on Friday and Saturday.

The Summer Moon Beer Festival takes place in the perfect setting of the Parish Meadow in Kingskerswell, and has a proud history of raising funds for local charities and good causes.  A great little festival with a great big heart.

Award Winning Jail Ale

Dartmoor Brewery flagship beer Jail Ale has once again been recognised as one of the best in class, with a Bronze award at the Tuckers Maltings Beer Festival. The coveted award comes from SIBA - the Society of Independent Brewers - a brewing industry organisation which showcases the very best in British brewing.  The award was sponsored by brewing suppliers Murphy and Sons. Woodland Beer Festival

The excellent Rising Sun Inn at Woodland, near Ashburton, is celebrating great local ales with its Mini Beer Festival, Saturday and Sunday 22nd/23rd April. There'll be a tempting selection of ales on offer, with Dartmoor Brewery ales featuring highly in the line-up. It's set to be a real community event, with local craft stalls, a barbecue, live music and fun & games.  The festivities start at 12 noon on both days. The Rising Sun Inn is a great Devon pub. Thatched House Plans "Ale-Pril" Fool

The superb Thatched House Inn, Exeter, is getting into the spirit of Spring with its "Ale-Pril Fool" Beer Festival on 31st March and 1st April. The festival of fine ales kicks off at 5pm on Friday 31st.  Look out for 14 guest ales, including Three Hares from Dartmoor Brewery.  There'll be live music each evening, and entry is free.
