Try our new Black Porter

The days are getting chilly, the nights are drawing in, and with impeccable timing the talented team at Dartmoor Brewery have come up with a deliciously warming Porter ale - No.5 in the Dartmoor Discovery range of small-batch craft ales.

The new Black Porter features a blend of pale, crystal and chocolate malts, giving this beer a deep flavour with a dark fruit undertone and a spicy, black pepper finish.

It's a dark beer, naturally, and packs a very smooth and satisfying flavour.

The Black Porter is available from November through to January - ask your local to get some in.  Best enjoyed in good company...

Return of the Dragon

Dragon's Breath is back!  This seasonal beer is always a popular additional to our Autumn and Winter range, and we've got it ready for you earlier than usual this year, by popular demand!

Flavoured with black treacle, Dragon’s Breath (4.4%) is a unique beer ideally suited to the cooler months, and was originally launched in the snows of December 2010. Deep ruby-brown coloured, rich and full-bodied with a delicious aftertaste of morello cherries, it's a real treat for the senses!

We've already despatched the first deliveries, and you'll find it in great pubs across the region including:

A Wheat Beer for Summer

The talented team at Dartmoor Brewery have pulled a refreshing new beer out of the hat in time for Summer!

“Dartmoor Discovery Range No.4” was unveiled today, and will be appearing in pubs and bars throughout the Summer months. The new brew, available for a limited time only, is a wheat beer specifically crafted with Summer drinking in mind. 

With a 30% wheat content, a distinctive spicy flavour from the Belgian yeast, and a hint of lemony hop, it is a uniquely refreshing beer.

Dartmoor Brewery has signalled its commitment to innovation in the beer sector, with the launch of a new ale in its fledgling Dartmoor Discovery Range of small-batch craft ales.
