Last night we put our glad rags on and enjoyed a glittering ceremony at the Holiday Inn in Plymouth for the annual Western Morning News Business Awards, which recognise success and innovation in business across Devon and Cornwall.� We were delighted to be the only South West brewery to be shortlisted for this year's awards in the Manufacturer and Small Business of the Year categories. Christmas Beer Launch

Dartmoor Border Morris�Dancers were in high�spirits after launching the�Dartmoor Brewery Christmas Ales at the Meavy Christmas Fair on Saturday afternoon. The Beer was free but donations were taken for Children In Need & The Dr. Mary Budding Trust, a local Tavistock�Charity helping disabled Children which the Dartmoor Border Morris Dancers have adopted as their Charity. Dartmoor Brewery and Ottery St Mary pub ignite legendary town event with scorching real ale

Dartmoor Brewery has teamed up with Ottery St Mary pub, The Volunteer Inn, to create a special winter warmer beer for revellers to enjoy during the town's legendary annual flaming tar barrels event. Aptly named 'Old Scorcher' by the carnival committee to reflect the flaming barrel tradition, the speciality beer is a delicious 4.4% real ale brewed with black treacle. After months of development we've been itching to show real ale fans our new look, which highlights our unique Dartmoor heritage and this week we were pleased to host an exciting event here in Princetown to unveil our new branding. It was good to see plenty of faces old and new turn out to sample our award-winning ales (complete with distinctive new logos!) and hear about our ambitious plans for the future � even a recognisable Dartmoor judge or two joined the celebrations!
