We were struggling for space at the brewery on Wednesday, when our good friend John 'Burbles' Burbage decided to bring his friends along to celebrate his birthday at the brewery. Somehow we managed to squeeze around 30 people into the shop at the front of our site in Princetown, and helped John enjoy his special day. To celebrate the day we gifted John with a one-of-a-kind IPA teddy bear, and put on a special series of beers, including Burbles Bitter and 50 Shades� of Burbage. - Dartmoor Brewery win third award in two days - We are excited to announce that here at Dartmoor Brewer we have received another award, the coveted Slaphead Shield Bronze Award from Alton Beer Festival. The Slaphead Shield is awarded to three competitors at the Alton Beer Festival, and is voted for by the visitors of the festival, opposed to a panel of judges. Dartmoor Brewery are celebrating this morning after winning two awards at the 24th annual Tuckers Maltings Beer Festival on Thursday April 14. The event, organised by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) and held in Newton Abbot, Devon, saw hundreds of attendees sampling from a wide selection of beers supplied by South West breweries. Dartmoor Brewery entered a small portion of the current range into the competition, and walked away with two awards – a silver and a bronze.
