The Great British Beer Garden: Churston Manor

For a Great British Beer Garden close to the coast, and with plenty of space for a relaxed bit of socially-distanced refreshment, head on over to the Churston Manor near Brixham.

For the time being, the Churston Manor is making the most of the summer days with a purpose-built Lawn Bar, where you'll find a cracking pint of Jail Ale among the line-up which includes a full bar selection, soft drinks, teas and coffees.

All the COVID-safe measures are in place, as you'd expect, but the main attraction is the huge lawned area with lots of tables, and plenty of space for all...

For a brilliant Devon pub surrounded by fresh Dartmoor air and views to die for, search out the Tors Inn in Belstone, in the heart of Dartmoor.

Like many fine pubs, the Tors Inn has adapted the way it does things in order to ensure a safe and reassuring welcome in strange times. The Shed is the new outdoor bar at the Tors Inn, where you'll find an excellent pint of Jail Ale, hearty pub food and much good cheer, with fresh air and stunning views across the Taw Valley and Cosdon Hill.
