Introducing our Pub of the Week - the excellent Rock Inn, Yelverton.
Originally a coaching house, believed to date back to the 16th century, The Rock Inn was converted from a private house over two hundred years ago. If you're planning a day out on Dartmoor, this popular country pub is the perfect spot for a little refreshment or sustenance, being conveniently located at the south western gateway to the moor, and only a short drive from Plymouth. You'll find a choice of comfortable and characterful bars, a lovely big beer garden to the front, very well kept Jail Ale...
As England's highest brewery, at 1465ft above sea level, we are well placed to enjoy the benefits of clean, fresh Dartmoor, and stunning Dartmoor views in every direction - both of which, we think, add a certain touch of magic to our beers.
"Beers with altitude", if you like.
We've launched a photo competition to find the best shots of any of our award-winning beers pictured at altitude - on a moorland tor, up a mountain, or atop a tower!
It's easy to enter. Just pop along to our Facebook page, look out for our pinned Photo Competition post, and add your entry...
Allow us to introduce the team at Dartmoor Brewery. We are passionate about brewing great beer.
