The Devon County Show is an annual three-day celebration of everything that's great about country life in Devon, and we'll be there showcasing our fabulous Dartmoor ales, from Thursday 18th to Saturday 20th May 2017. If you've not been to the Devon County Show before, make it a date this year.  Arrive early, leave late, and enjoy a day packed with country pursuits, award-winning animals, a plethora of trade stands and a showcase of Devon's fine food and drink. The Dartmoor Brewery team are on the road again, this time with a trip to the rather splendid Tally Ho which can be found in the village of Littlehempston near Totnes. We'll be at "The Tally" for a Meet the Brewer session from 7:30pm on Thursday 13th April, kicking off the long Easter Weekend in style.  We'll be introducing our fabulous Dartmoor ales, on draught and in the bottle, and chatting about the ingredients we use and our brewing process. Salute to the Legendary "Mad Jack"

Dartmoor Brewery has saluted the wartime achievements of Lieutenant Colonel “Mad” Jack Churchill, with a donation to the Commandos Benevolent Fund. Mad Jack, who died in 1996, remains a legend throughout the military for his distinguished career and unique character. Through the Second World War he entered each battle armed with a longbow, bagpipes and a Scottish broadsword, which he would brandish at the enemy. The SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval) award for the brewing industry was developed in conjunction with the Cask Marque scheme which recognises excellence in the service of craft ale. Thatched House Plans "Ale-Pril" Fool

The superb Thatched House Inn, Exeter, is getting into the spirit of Spring with its "Ale-Pril Fool" Beer Festival on 31st March and 1st April. The festival of fine ales kicks off at 5pm on Friday 31st.  Look out for 14 guest ales, including Three Hares from Dartmoor Brewery.  There'll be live music each evening, and entry is free.
