Pub of the Week: The Prince William, Brixham

With thoughts turning to warmer days on Devon's glorious coasts, we are heading to beautiful Brixham for our Pub of the Week - the ever popular Prince William.

You'll find this quirky pub in a prime spot, right on the edge of Brixham’s bustling and historic harbour. Matt and the team are on hand to offer you a warm, traditional welcome - and an excellent pint of Jail Ale.

Brixham is home to one of the UK's largest fishing fleets, so it's no surprise that the traditional fish & chips on the menu at the Prince William are rather excellent. You'll also find Brixham seafood chowder, local mussels and a catch of the day on the well-priced menu available lunchtimes and evenings.

Undoubtedly one of the highlights of the Prince William is the large terrace overlooking the harbour - the perfect spot from which to watch the world go by (and perhaps catch a glimpse of one of the local seals).

Brixham is a great choice for a day out in Devon. Stroll around the harbour, explore the town, take a walk to the nearby Berry Head Nature Reserve, or pop on a pair of walking boots and tackle the glorious section of the South West Coast Path between Brixham and Torquay.
